QED Coffee started out only selling wholesale a few years ago and have since grown to open a brick & and mortar shop last summer. Their shop is located in the quiet neighborhood of Mount Baker (not anywhere near the actual Mount Baker). QED offers a selection of coffees that are in season and guaranteed to be the best! Fun fact: QED comes from the Latin phrase quod erat demonstratum – “that which is to be shown”.
We’re very happy to offer two delicious coffees from QED at our Seattle showroom! Choose between the Integral blend which is made up of coffee from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Papua New Guinea or the single origin Papua New Guinea Moanti which has notes of oranges, Brazil nuts and chocolate. These beautiful coffees will be in stock for a limited time so be sure to pick up a couple of bags soon!

The Visions team is so grateful for an amazing turnout to our Grand Reopening Celebration. Visions is turning 30 in 2016, and we decided it was time for a makeover. We were humbled that so much of the coffee community came out to support us with our new showroom, new partnerships and new initiatives for the year ahead.
We kicked off the day long celebration with free coffee from our friends Olympia Coffee, Ristretto Roasters, Anchorhead Coffee, Caffe D’arte, and Slate Coffee serving up their great coffee on equipment from Slayer Espresso, Unic, Mavam, Synesso, and Modbar. Friends from Nuova Simonelli, La Marzocco, Marco were on hand with their equipment and their support.
Friends old and new packed into the showroom and our Coffee Education Lab to celebrate, drink lots of coffee and connect with the community. Seoul Kitchen, POP UP Bike Pops and Seapine Brewing Company kept everyone fed and happy.
We teamed up with the NW Space Agency for a fun throwdown to end the evening. Our esteemed judges were Neil Oney / Royal Drummer Coffee, Anne Halsner / Synesso, and Maxwell Mooney / Spotted Cow. Seattle Barista Kyle Dols / Empire Espresso took the top spot with a beautiful design poured into a cocktail mixer!
Hosting every one of you made us incredibly happy and we just can’t say thank you enough for celebrating with us. We look forward to partnering with you for another 30 years as Visions continues to welcome the coffee community through our doors.
